Palate Mudras
The first point is neutral, safe, and can be stimulated by unprepared individuals. The second and third points are used to increase the fire and water elements in the body, and treating them requires some familiarity; they are not suitable for everyone. In this case, what’s more important is that “Nabhi-Mudra” closes energy channels, automatically enhancing the body’s resistance to diseases.
But why do we need to perform reflexology on the nasopharynx? Very often, when a person exercises and regularly works on themselves, they encounter resistance at some point, in other words, their personal strength is not sufficient.
The explanation is as follows: the change in 3D reality, consciousness, and subconsciousness are interconnected, and so-called “deep unconsciousness” contains patterns and programs that have predetermined the quality of our lives, and they resist change. At the same time, the body tries to regain control over energy expenditure. Thus, unconsciously, a person starts to hinder themselves or the body opposes conscious desires.
Point of Air
(Vayu-Nabhi-Mudra) activates the air element in the human body. Touch the area above the upper teeth with your tongue and hold it in this position. As you press, concentration increases, energy circulation intensifies, congestion in the nasopharynx is removed, helping in the treatment of respiratory organ diseases and recovery of the lungs. The functioning of the central nervous and immune systems’ most crucial systems and organs improves. It helps overcome laziness, inertia, and depression.
Point of Fire
(Agni-Nabhi-Mudra) activates the fire element in the human body. Touch the palate’s vault with the tip of your tongue and hold it in this position. This mudra has a warming effect, improves vision, promotes harmonization of digestion, and enhances memory. It cleanses and moisturizes all tissues in the body.

Point of Water
(Jala or Apas-Nabhi-Mudra). Touch the very beginning of the soft palate with your tongue and hold it. This improves digestion, the condition of the throat and teeth, and enhances internal vision. It is pressed in cases of cardiovascular and endocrine diseases, injuries, metabolic disorders, hypertension, and diabetes.
There are other points that are massaged to tone the throat and control the body’s internal state.
Point of Ether
(Khechari or Akasha Mudra). Continue with the tongue along the line of the three points described above until it almost enters the throat, to the furthest possible point. Hold this position for 15-30 seconds while breathing through the nose. Finally, release the throat and tongue. This mudra heals the throat and nasopharynx, relieves stress and inner tension, develops clarity and positivity of thought, destroys destructive programs in the subconscious. It develops intuition, helps detoxify the body, regulates cellular metabolism, and helps overcome chronic fatigue syndrome.
Point of Earth
(Prithvi-Mudra). Press the tip of the tongue strongly against the base of the lower teeth from the inside. Hold it in this position for about 25-30 seconds, then release. Breathe through the nose. This mudra heals the nasopharynx, soothes, gives a sense of inner support, and grounds. It develops strength and endurance, supports the body in dealing with diseases such as osteoporosis, arthritis, various skin conditions, teeth, hair, nails, and joints. It helps overcome apathy and lethargy, improves mood.
